I walked in with my eyes set on a particular vehicle that ended up not being the right choice for me. But with the expertise and knowledge of everyone I worked with here, they immediately set me up with a few other vehicles to test drive that met the criteria I was looking for. I walked out with a low mile vehicle that drives really smooth, and the monthly payment is around where I wanted it to be. I am extremely happy with the end results and would recommend anyone I know to go here.

I was looking for a new vehicle and was directed to Harpswell used cars and my sales representative Kyle was amazing and checked all the boxes and made sure everything went good and then I had reached out to him a few days later and needed some things checked he got me set up for a service call and he also came out to check on me when I went for the service call and made sure we were all set and then Mason in the service department was very helpful to us!!! We thank Kyle and Mason for all there hard work and support to make sure that we were taken care of!!

Alex Bandouveres at Harpswell auto made buying the car my family needed a breeze. Crazy to think going into a used car dealership and worrying about being worked over or whatever it is people worry about when buying used. But that didn’t happen at Harpswell auto. I was not rushed by a salesman while looking at what I wanted to get for my family. After I made up my mind I walked in and was greeted with a familiar face from and old friend I have seen in over 10 years maybe more idk. But those junior high football and BAYFL glory days of our class were epic. He got me the keys let me take it for a ride and the next day had the paper work ready while I was at work and able to drive off with it today. Thanks Harpswell auto and Bando for making it happen.

I recently paid off my jeep Wrangler that I had purchased from Harpswell auto sales five years ago- today I purchased my second vehicle with the same convenient and pleasant service. Alex had my plates and keys ready for me as I walked in the door. I would highly recommend doing service with Harpswell and I’m sure I’ll be buying more vehicles here in the future.

Kalani was very helpful when I went through the process of buying my truck, he's very nice and down to earth made the whole process quick and easy. There were a few small problems with the truck the week I bought it but they were able to get it in and out of the service center without any problems

I came across HAS online, looking for a new vehicle since my 2013 Crosstrek was full of problems! Their inventory is full of really nice vehicles for decent prices. I was lucky enough to find a barely used 2024 Mazda Cx-30 and snatched it right up. I loved how easy it was to talk to the folks over there; everyone was great. My new car is absolutely amazing and it feels perfect for me. Couldn’t be more happy!

Knowledgeable. I purchased this little gem today!! 2021 Jeep Renegade. I am obsessed with the color!! I love it! The purchase was the easiest ever! I was able to get just about everything done over the phone so after shift at MCH I stopped in and met with Alex. Got to go on a test drive and had paperwork finished in about an hour!! Great service. Was a little unhappy with original trade in offer but they were willing to adjust their offer to fit our needs. Quick to schedule appointment for issues found during test drive (nothing major). Great salesmen and sales manager! We were there for the grand opening so automatically got put in for multiple raffles. Will definitely keep Harpswell in mind the next time I’m shopping for a vehicle!

Hands down best car buying experience ever!! Walked in no appointment and Josh and Alex spent time educating me and helping me figure out what I needed - no pressure just reasonable educated information and problem solving for our complicated situation. Came back the next day and tried two more cars they had brought over for me for Lewiston and bought one! Also my impression is they source only good quality Cars. I paid for the car fax on the one I bought, and the owner had only driven it 5000 miles a year and had done all the maintenance every year. This is the only dealership I’ve found in Maine that actually lives up to their promises. Other dealerships that work with low credit/complex credit situations all had grand promises and wasted my time with pointless inquiries that hurt my credit score. Alex really helped me out. I submitted the application and from then on he worked tirelessly to get me into a vehicle that was in my range, that would work for me with financing, and that I really loved. He was patient when I didn’t like the first few options and I ended up in a car I LOVE that was under budget and perfectly met my needs. Cannot recommend them enough especially if you are getting on your feet and having difficulty with financing a vehicle.

The quickest and least painful car buying experience thus far. I called Kyle when HAS opened on a Wednesday morning with questions about a 19’ Wrangler, he called me back with 3 hours and I was approved. No down payment, no proof of income. I would recommend this Harspwell to anyone. We never bought a car from a dealership but heard horror stories. Having to trade in a two door Jeep in for a four door was absolutely awesome. I was afraid of getting less gas mileage going from the 2.0 turbo to the 3.6 but have to say to my surprise I am getting better gas mileage with the 3.6. Harpswell auto corrected instantly a couple of little issues with the newer Jeep which they took care of the expenses of the repairs. I could not be any more impressed with Harpswell Auto as a dealer. With no B.S. or compensation for my time now matter what your credit is they will find a way to work with you!!!!

Alex was outstanding! From the minute I emailed Harpswell Motors and received a very quick email back to signing the paperwork and picking up my truck. He made the transaction so easy and super quick. He had everything ready prior to me arriving and meeting him at his office to sign the paperwork. He had everything done online and submitted to the bank and all I needed to do is just showed up to sign the paperwork. Quick and painless. The guys here always checked in on us for the few weeks after I initially inquired about a van online. Not pushy, but they reminded me, which I appreciated. That meant a lot, as a parent of 4 kids needing another minivan. Once we finally showed up, not only did they make the whole car buying experience low key, they also suggested a great lunch spot to stop at on the way home. Great food after a confident purchase. We will %100 buy from this dealer again. We didn't feel like a quota being met here, and they were insanely accommodating. No wonder they have so many good reviews!

We dropped in on a Saturday, late in the afternoon, close to 4:30ish on a whim. We test drove a Chevy Equinox and were really impressed. We were able to trade in an older vehicle we had and were in the new car by 5:45, past the time they closed. We had one or two things pop up that we wanted them to look into. They were able to give us a loaner vehicle and took good care of us. I was impressed with the sales department and the service department at Harpswell Auto. Hey I bought a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek premium from Harpswell Auto. Alex was my salesman and I must say he's a great guy. Me and my lady experienced total transparency, all of our questions answered. The service manager, Elliot Decker was also very knowledgeable and professional as well! He made sure that my car was in excellent condition. Recent purchase of a 2018 Honda CV. Low miles (35k), fair pricing, excellent service, great warranty. I do not like spending hours in a dealership going back and forth on pricing and getting paperwork together and done. Justin gave me bottom dollar on phone, had all paperwork done before I arrived. Highly recommend Harpswell if looking for a good, low mile, used vehicle.

We recently bought an F150 from Harpswell, and were so happy, that a day later we bought a Jeep wrangler from them. With both purchases the transaction was smooth, in & out. Staff was friendly, helpful and didn't provide any pressure at all. I would highly recommend the sales staff at the Harpswell Location.

I went into the Lewiston location, being closer to my house. Jared was great right from the start. He hooked us up with a great car. 2019 Hyundai Sonata with 22,000 miles! It’s like driving a brand new car! All the bells and whistles. This car should last for quite awhile! Wife loves it! Salesmen we’re very helpful and work together.

Great team. They have a 24 hour help line if you have questions in the middle of the night. I actually chatted with someone about my car at 2 in the am. Was great. Then when I went to test drive it Justin was amazing. He made sure I sat in many vehicles so I could be sure I was getting what I really wanted. They held my car for a week while the bank got things straight and Justin was great through it all. Highly recommend stopping in. All the cars are open with tons of different types of cars. My family has bought 7 vehicles from Harpswell auto always been treated well, they work hard to find ways to get you in the vehicles you want. Recently worked with Alex (sales) he was wonder along with the rest of the staff. As for the service department Elliott has been wonderful with getting the vehicles fixed in a timely manner. I highly recommend them. I understand many people have many complaints although they need to remember when they buy a used vehicle they should buy a warranty and take care of the vehicle and if they don't that is there stupidity and need to stop blaming the sales people and the service department

I have been working with these guys for about a week trying to get everything together. Today I went in to finalize everything and there were only 2 guys on staff. They were swamped but were still doing their best to accommodate everyone. Donny was who we worked with today and he did a great job explaining any discrepancies and reassured us on all details of the transaction. He's a great guy and went out of his way to make sure we walked away happy. We love our new truck and appreciate the customer service that we were provided. Justin at the harpswell location was very helpful in finding a car for me. I had been using a rental for about 3 months after totaling my car. He spent all day- for two days dedicating time to answer all my questions and search for the perfect fit. He sent me some good options to start with. Super open with communication, I was able to text him throughout the day. Which was super convenient for me and allowed me to keep record of the conversation. I let him know which cars wouldn’t work and why. He listened, several moments later he came back me a great car, all wheel drive, great gas mileage and super reliable being rated top 5 in most reliable.

Overall good experience. Got bummed at first cuz every car I was interested in kept selling before I could get there to see it! When I finally made the appointment to go, they even came and picked me up and brought me to the dealership so I didn't have to pay for a taxi! ❤️ after test driving one, not being in love with it, the guys pulled a storm cloud grey blue hot little Mazda out for me that hadn't even been posted to their site yet and I loved it. Furthermore they agreed to take my trade-in sight unseen AND would come haul it away! Sure they are are a little expensive but they work with anyone and have been super accommodating. Plus I get a free oil change with this review! Highly recommend.

I decided I wanted a pickup and have lousy credit. I saw their abundance of ads on Facebook and decided to give them a try. Justin was my salesman. Pleasant knowledgeable and fast I might have been at the dealership for 45 minutes. Left with a 2015 ram which I enjoy and didn't think I could get with my subpar credit. Harpswell auto was there to help when others couldn't or wouldn't and considering the bad credit the price and payment were pretty decent. My boyfriend had been turned away at a dealership in Portland - and by recommendation by his friend, we checked out Harpswell Auto Sale. He filled out the application online at 630 in the morning and had a phone call by 7! We drove up and Lucas had a truck waiting to be test drove that fit his budget.
